Question / Help Black screen trying to window capture skype video (webcam)

Hello,

i'm relatively new to streaming, so excuse me if the solution is obvious, I just can't see it.
At the moment i have no webcam, but i'd like to stream with a webcam, so i thought of my laptop and tried to figure a way to use my laptop's webcam, while streaming on my regular desktop.
What i did was I made a second skype account, and make a video call to myself over the 2 accounts.
Obviously i can see my laptop's webcam then showing myself. So i tried to window capture the webcam.
So far so good, it shows me on the preview, the webcam isn't frozen, but from the moment i open my game over it (cs:go) the webcam goes black. I tried with aero on and off.
The thing is, i'm have 2 black bars left and right of my stream, when i put the webcam on top of the black bar spot on stream it will show a part of the webcam. It's like I can't open anything on top of it or it goes black. I only have 1 monitor so its not like i can drag it out of my first monitor. Is there any way to do this ?

The only thing I saw in that log file was that you were playing CS:GO for an hour and a half. Might not be the correct log file.

In that log file you just streamed CS:GO again. I don't see anywhere where you tried to use window capture. You're not trying to capture skype with game capture I hope. You need to use window capture.

Sorry for the late answer, kind of weird cuz it were the latest ones, but i just tried it again, started stream and stopped it with same results so this one should have some info. Webcam is half black and I also noticed it's frozen when i open CS over it, but when i minimize it it unfreezes.

If you are going fullscreen when trying to capture skype with window capture, then you must have aero enabled. If aero is disabled and you go in to a fullscreen game, window capture will stop working, so you need to turn on aero before you do something like that. (Though I'm not entirely sure if it'll work even with aero on because I haven't tested it, but I'm pretty sure it should)

Well I have aero on, cs:go in windowed mode and it works fine, the only thing that sucks is my resolution is so fucked up in window. So i'll try it with aero on and fullscreen see if it works. If not, this will work untill I get a webcam. Once again, thanks alot for the fast help man, appreciate it !
