Question / Help Black Screen. Tried all things.

Hi everyone,

I tried to use "Game Capture" for recording some games like Chivalry or Hitman: Absolution. Before trying this today, I tried to use the same mode on League of Legends (few months ago) and never worked, that's why I capture it on "Monitor Capture".

I've always thought that the problem was League of Legends, but seems that the problem is general.

I've tried using 32-bit OBS, the 64-bit OBS, starting them in admin mode, etc. There are no results.

When I try to capture the game with the "Game Capture" mode, the program says in his bottom: "Cannot find window"

Obviously, I can't capture a full window game with the other modes of OBS. I get the same black screen.

Can anyone help me?

If your computer has 2 graphics cards, make sure OBS and the game are running on the same card.

be ingame when you select game capture, as for black window, turn on windows aero

Try disabling VSync.
