Hi Members,

Just installed OBS and have been reading many tutorials. I'm trying to test OBS by capturing a video I created in youtube using Chrome and Firefox. I added a source (window capture). All is good until I received a BLACK screen after I clicked "Ok" in the "Properties for Window Capture" that appears after the "Create/Select Source" window. I tried OBS in both Chrome and Firefox and it still shows a black screen in OBS after clicking "OK" in the "Properties for Window Capture". Why is it black and how do I fix this please?

Thank you for your help.

Thanks Simes but I tried that already. I disabled Hardware Acceleration in Chrome and no luck. Here are two photos attached. The "Properties for Window Capture" and the after result of clicking "OK' in that window produces the Black screen in the main OBS window. Been at this all day with no fix.

Thank you for helping.

@ Suslik V, Thank you. Appreciate the help. That "eye" icon is set to "on" as a default. However, I may have turned it "off" via the check box in the "Create/Select Source" window (lower left) that appears after I added "Window Capture" as a source. Good point. Thank you.
