Question / Help black screen recording, 4k monitor nothing showing up - log file

my issue - i have a 55' 4k tv as a monitor, im just trying to screen record. ran the wizard. base set to 4k scaled to 1080p which is what i want. nothing shows up in the window. straight black.
base - 3840x2160
output - 1920x1080
deleted and reinstalled the program twice some settings not deleting for fresh install. used to work without issue
cant figure this out

You can't do display capture with OBS on a laptop with both integrated and discrete GPUs unless OBS is set to run on the integrated GPU.

windows wont let me open up Nvidia Controlk panel "you are currently not using a display attached to an nvidia gpu"
any help?

Nope, OBS is still launching on the Nvidia card. For display capture it needs to launch on the integrated GPU.

my bad i changed it to the Nvidia card, aplogies i will retry, my webcam worked on it tho

thank you i got it working, appreciate it very much i was reading the steps wrong. colour just looks a bit dark but everyt hing is working
