I am running OBS on a Laptop and have looked at all the fixes for the dreaded black screen. I can't find any info on my precise situation however. What Im trying to do is record the video that I stream from my Xbox One to my laptop (My university's internet security requires my console to get its connection through my pc, and to avoid buying a new headset I stream the xbox to my pc using the xbox app on windows 10, this allows me to hear through my headset and use its mic but see the xbox video on my tv.)
So I am trying to record the window that the stream is in. I get a black screen but i still get audio, and when I move my mouse over the xbox window it shows up in the recording (not a problem but it proves that it is indeed recording something)
Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated,
