Question / Help Black Screen on Window Capture, Nvidia 1070, not a laptop

It's not clear what you're trying to capture and how you are trying to capture it.
For Browsers and MS Office you need to deactivate hardware acceleration in the corresponding app settings.
Windows shop apps cannot be windows-captured, only display-captured.

A Basic window capture of anything seems to fail. The stand alone copy of Skype, Discord, etc. Is hardware acceleration a common theme with giving a black screen by chance? Game Capture seems to work fine.

Ideally, the plan is to window capture Skype, so that we can display multiple webcams from people onto the same stream.

Skype is a Windows shop app (UWP) and cannot be window-captured. Albeit, there is a possibility of capturing something from it with the use of NDI. In Skype is a setting where you can redirect video contents through ndi. I don't know exactly where this setting is and how it is setup, but you might do a search about skype and ndi in the forum - there exist threads about it.

Ill take a look thanks. However I did download a standalone version of Skype that isnt from the Windows Shop, not sure that matters. Offhand do you know if discord can be?
