Question / Help Black Screen on recording.

Hello.

I'm trying to record games and for some reason i can't record in fullscreen.
The preview will show the game and when i hit record the window on OBS shows the game. But the actual video when i pull it up in my folder is a black screen.

Is it possible to fullscreen record with OBS? If so how can i fix this issue. I think it's weird that the window on OBS shows the game but the actual recorded video itself doesn't.

hmm i just rechecked the entire video and i goofed on my part. the black screen at the first few seconds of the test recording were because i was tabbed out of the game i guess. After a few seconds the game came up on the video. Sorry to have bothered anyone with this useless post
