Bug Report Black screen on PVR using Window Capture with Aero

Hey all,

I use the Happauge HD PVR2 and, was wondering if it's the PVR having problems with Aero enabled using window capture. It will capture perfectly when aero disabled but as soon as I turn it on I get a black screen, even in the preview. Im not having problems streaming as there are alternatives like Monitor Capture, I'm just wondering if this is the same for people who have this device.


Using window capture for the performance and trying to have Aero to remove the screen tearing( lose v-sync disabled). Not asking for alternatives just troubleshooting to see if aero enabled window capture works on this device.

HD PVRs are currently unsupported, I may try to get them working but keep running into other more important things I need to work on

Thanks for the amazing support of this software and constant community feedback. I am having a similar issue and will reply back with any temporary workarounds if I find any.

Thanks for the reply Jim, and I understand there are more critical matters at hand. Look forward to aero window capture for the PVR2 though and the further developments of OBS of course.

I hope you find one, I've been trying to find some work around but to no success, damn that aero.
