Question / Help Black screen on OBS

Im trying to steaming the game called Typing of the Dead. No matter how I try to put, like window, game capture, monitor, etc etc. all it does just showing black screen. Only Sounds works. This game dont have windowed option so I have no idea how to make it into windowed. It dont have windowed option on Compatibility.

Please help.

Typing of the Dead is a DirectX 7 game, and is thus not compatible with Game Capture at the moment.

That being said, I'm pretty sure I've run Typing of the Dead in windowed mode before. Investigate the configuration files or what other means of saving settings the game might have, or even pressing alt+enter or F4 while the game is running.

alt + enter and F4 isnt working. Yeah I tried that. nothing works. if I could make it into windowed so OBS window would works to steaming.

Sorry, no, I don't have the game anymore. You may have to use an intermediary application such as DXtory, or look into something called "D3D Windower" (which I believe was originally developed for Maple Story, but works with a number of older DirectX games.)
