Question / Help Black screen on linux (no option to change video adapter)

I tried to solve this but havent found anything. when i go to video settings the video adapter part is gray and doesnt move.

Anyone know what i can do?

I can't promise anything but I had this problem too and just messed around with some settings. AFter changing the Downscale Filter under Videos, it began to work. Other than that I wouldn't know

@trippin : The gray "video adapter" choice is normal if you don't have multiple GPU (indeed, why giving a choice if there's no one ?)
The problem is elsewhere...can you post us your log file after trying OBS again ?

That dropdown actually hasn't been implemented yet. Right now its only purpose is to appear in the settings and confuse people as to why it doesn't do anything.
