Question / Help Black screen on game recording

I'm trying to record GTA San Andreas with OBS and all it does is give me a stupid black screen in every recording. I've tried using display capture, window capture, and game capture. None of them work.This has been pissing me off for a long time and this is my last resort to figuring it out. Thanks in advance

If you read the whole question, you would have noticed that I already said I tried game capture. It does not work with GTA San Andreas.

I did read your entire message. The game doesn't appear in the drop down selection where it says "Window" in the Properties window? Only trying to help you. Good luck.

Having the exact same problem. I'm on desktop and when i choose to select Monitor capture, the preview of it shows up but when i decide to finalise it, the screen is black.
