Question / Help Black screen on game capture

So im trying to stream a game while playing it in full screen mode but it just's shows black screen any ideas? I'm an idiot when its comes to this sort of stuff, it works fine in windows mode but the game lags

Run obs as admin and do NOT alt+tab out of the game to check on it.

Just tried that mate, always run as admin when i checked the recordings it was still black screen the audio works fine

Edit: Okay I've tried so many things nothing seems to work. I got pretty close for it to work i set it to windows capture selected the exe. works perfect 30fps smooth. Now in game i switch it to fullscreen and the windows capture still works but watching it back on the recordings playing on windows smooth recording when i switched it changed to like 10fps or something but in game it was fine.

If someone could help me with this would appreciate it so much.
