Your trying to stream LoL... with a intel i3 CPU... Using integrated graphics, at higher then 720p...? Your having problems? really? No way.

also what have you tried? you run the game and you get a black screen? Not the most helpful question.

Ask who ever does LoL as it their game giving you a black screen on your super cruddy desktop.

Have a nice day.

Oh, come now Mairu...

Kurtis, the problem is that you don't have any sources added to any scenes. You have to add a capture source to a scene before anything will show up in the OBS window. Not a global source.

i even turn settings way down like quality bitrate resolution ect nothing happens still. xsplit works fine, just bloated and laggy.

You still don't have sources added. To add a source, right-click the Sources area then Add -> Add Game Capture. If you want to use it in multiple scenes then this is where global sources come in handy.

^^ wow what an asshole, first of all its a laptop, second this i3 is powerful.. lol if your gonna just say what u said instead of help me, wow get a life and dont post for help if your a retard and dont know shit urself thanks.

Yes I am, I have a nice big ass. Thank you for noticing, probably because I'm 224 pounds and 6"6'. and laptop...? mobile i3... Intergrated graphics... really? I've seen i5's have problems playing LoL, and streaming wail keeping a decent frame rate, with just intergrated graphics (though in all fairness we were using xSplit, but meh).

You gave no information on what you were doing till I asked you to give more on it, the way you explained it it sounded like your "mobile" throttled down i3 (which is a pile of junk) was being a p!le of junk, and your game was black-screening "if" you apply the title of your post to what you were saying. (Title: Black Screen on game capture).

I simply asked you to give more information (which till you did no one was able to figure out you didn't know how to add a source properly so me asking you for more info was the right move), maybe I should have asked nicer, but in my defense, that was fairly nice (could have removed the first paragraph but honestly I can't see you not having ishues on two cores if your streaming with that laptop at 720p+". me being not nice would be "I see you have brain damage, how about you try to read the FAQ. Read now... go on, come on now." Being mean would be "yeah your 12... How about you come back when you know how to ask a question, and have weened yourself off your Mother's Milk." As I said I was being nice.

Also F.A.Q First Q&A, whats it say?

I have a black screen and can’t see my stream
Firstly, make sure you have created a scene and added a source to actually be seen. After that, you’ll need to turn on ‘Preview Stream’ or be streaming in order to see your stream."

So your question you should have asked is "How do I add a sourse, the site FAQ doesn't explain exactly how."

Then you would have gotten a "You add a source by right clicking on the black preview window, then selecting the type of source you want to add."would have been my reply

Not a question like "Lol is coming out black." because you'll get soemone being what most may consider mean examples above.
Thank you.

Sincerely,
MairuFrost

P.S. Jim I was civil,
