Question / Help Black Screen on Desktop

Frequent occurrence of "Black Screen", between every game of League of Legends (as well as other games). To clarify, my camera and other overlays work, however my capture display goes black. In order to get the stream/recording working again, I have to close and relaunch OBS only for it to occur again after the match is over. I am playing on a Desktop, not laptop, and do not have an integrated GPU which seems to be the only fix people know about. Is anyone else running into this issue and if so has anyone discovered a fix for this?

As far as I remember, LoL has 2 components: the lobby, which you need to capture with Window Capture. And the actual gameplay, which you need to capture with Game Capture. Make a scene that contains both sources, and either of them will be active, depending on where in the game you currently are.

Was simply using LoL as the example. I have a scene for that, but its with everygame. No matter what I'm playing, it goes black the second you exit gameplay
