Question / Help Black screen on any non-window capture

It doesn't work on Overwatch, osu!, or Cave Story+ (all the games I've tried)

I've tried running both the game and OBS as admin, I've tried the anti-cheat hook, I've tried making sure there's no other programs capturing, etc.

I am having this problem with Ark and have also tried running as admin and using the anti-cheat hook. Battleye seems to be blocking it regardless, which is quite annoying. Hoping someone has a way around it, I like having a Steam overlay but I don't like it showing on stream.

Still unable to get anything but games in windowed mode to work :x

It should be noted that XSplit does not have this problem. I've been playing with the free version to see how I like it, and while I am rather fond of the vastly superior chroma key, it uses far too much of my available CPU resources and has a lot of problems, so I'd much rather stick with OBS.
