Question / Help Black screen (NVidia settings check)

So I got black screen on my stream (and preview), and already tried changing Nvidia settings for OBS and no good. Tried both graphics cards on Settings, nothing. Monitor Capture or any Window Capture does not work (but other sources like webcam, do). I'm just trying to stream my screen, no game included.

If you have properly read and implemented the bolded red settings from this thread: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/ then Game Capture should definitely be working. There is a chance that whatever game you are trying to capture has anti-cheat protection, in which case you can try use the "Anti-cheat compatibility hooking" in Game Capture properties.

Uh, no, I'm not streaming any games. I'm just streaming myself working (drawing).

If you're trying to use monitor capture or window capture on something that's not a game, then I'd probably recommend using the intel graphics adapter in your nvidia settings. You can also try using 'compatibility mode' in window capture if you continue to have issues. Monitor capture doesn't work very well on laptops usually so I'd just recommend window capture

Putting Compatibility Mode on both Monitor and Window seems to work. Thanks!
