Hi,
I've been trying to record/stream MapleStory, but every time I have the game up and running, OBS goes black.

It's not just Monitor Capture that fails to work, all the captures go black with MapleStory running.
Any ideas? :(

Maplestory is the one single game out there that's a complete enigma, it causes all captures to break, and I haven't the slightest clue as to why. It only happens with maplestory as well, I've never seen it happen before with any other application.

It's pretty selective though... MapleStory livestreamers that I've talked to all use OBS to stream. I just assume there's something up with my PC rather than the game, if it works for a lot of other people but me.

You're not the only one. If maplestory works on other systems then that's interesting, maybe it only happens to specific hardware, but for some people it doesn't work at all and completely breaks all capturing.

Are they using a capture card at all?
