I have literally scoured the internet looking for answers to the famous black screen, and alas literally nothing has helped me. This issue happens with many games but not all of them, for the ones where this currently happens are GTA V and Dark Souls 2: Scholars of the first sin. It has also happened to alot of random ones though i don't remember their names. Some do work fine, Skyrim works wonderful, I am Bread works great, and so does CS:GO.
This black screen issue happens with both Game Capture and Window capture, not with monitor capture. Monitor capture works just fine. That being said, i am really only interested in Game Capture. Also I would like to not use a Video Capture software like dxstory as it slows things down and that's another thing to add to the pile of things to tech fix.
I have tried this and failed:
1) Checking and unchecking. Multiple times. Removing the source and putting it back. Multiple times.
2) Checking the anti-cheat box and unchecking it. Multiple times.
3) Starting the stream with hotkeys while in-game (as to not minimize)
4) Added the game to Global Source and then used that source instead.
5) Started OBS as Administrator. Multiple times.
6) I closed FRAPS and there's no Overlay (including steam overlays)
I will add more to the list as I keep trying.
