Question / Help Black screen in game capture

Hey, I am having trouble with the game capture. I have an elgato hd60 and for some reason I can not preview the game. I just get a black screen. Is there a setting that I might have changed accidently? Would really like to start streaming again ASAP.

You don't use game capture to capture from an elgato. It's a video capture device.

My elgato does not show up as an option under video capture device. The only option is my logitech camera.

Then it either isn't installed properly or you're on mac.

I'm on Windows and I have tried reinstalling it and relaxing checked to make sure the cords were in correctly.

Did you add the Elgato as a Global Source? That's the only way I was able to get mine to work.

I had to uninstall my OBS and then reinstall it to get the elgato to show up on my video capture devises.
