Question / Help Black Screen In Don't Starve?

Hi there I recently got a gift from my friend Don't Starve and I went from x split to OBS and found it is much better than x split, but to my surprise, I found a nice blank screen when recording Don't Starve, No errors, just a nice black screen? My graphics are geforce 9500 Store Bought Overclocked, If you guys or gals want I can post a pic of the black screen.

Also terribly sorry if I have posted in the wrong place please let me know.

If game capture doesn't work, it could just be using an older version of directx or something -- I'm not entirely sure, an alternative is playing the game windowed and use window capture.
 
Well it's weird I have the latest version of DirectX and etc... and yeah I was hoping that I could play it without having to do that. Anyways this is the blank screen that happens, I hope it's okay to post this pic in the forums.

While I don't think it's a Flash game, it doesn't seem to use any kind of 3D hardware acceleration for drawing the screen. I've always used window capture for it myself.
 
Edit: Yes I think it is a flash game from googleing, so yeah I might have to view it in the other screen, funny, that other unspeakable streaming app didn't pick it up as a flash game?
