Hi OBS Community,
I have done a good amount of research to be able to work with a setup I currently have for my streaming goals. I am currently trying to get the view of my DLSR (Nikon D5600) to work on OBS Studio (Version 27.1.3) using a Video Capture Device (Elegato Cam Link 4k). However, I sadly say I've been trying to figure this out for weeks and finally give in needing someone's help.
I have a Macbook Pro (Mid 2014) with 2 (3.0 Usb Ports).
Mac OS is running 10.15.4 Catalina which OBS Studio should be able to support.
CPU: is a Dual Core Intel Core i5
+ I purchased a USB 3.0 Extension Cord
Pictures
Process:
1. Adding Video Capture Device 2. Selecting Cam Link 4k 3. Result
USB 3.0 Extension Cord Connected to Cam Link 4k to DLSR (HDMI Port) with a Power Supply and I Flick the "LV" for Live View to make sure it works
My Setup:
So I hope I provided enough information for someone to help me with the black screen. I greatly appreciate anybody's help.
Thank you,
FM.
