Question / Help Black screen for Display and Game Capture (and I have tried what the wiki suggests)

I did a fresh install of OBS a couple of days ago on a newer computer and I have only encountered a black screen for Display Capture and Game Capture. Window Capture only works for a few windows that it wants to see (ex. Firefox and Explorer works, Discord doesn't). I am using a laptop with an Nvidia graphics card, but I have tried running the program with both the high-powered processor and the integrated graphics card and neither of them work. Running as an administrator and using compatibility mode don't either. I'm kind of at a loss because I feel like I've tried every suggestion people offer for black screens.

If you want to use Window Capture with Discord, you will need to disable the hardware acceleration option, which can be found in User Settings -> Appearance. Apps like System Settings cannot be captured because they're UWP apps.

Based on your current settings, Game Capture and Window Capture should work fine, minus a subset of hardware accelerated applications. Try reproducing your Game Capture issues, then post a "Current Log".
