Question / Help Black Screen FFXIV Issues (4770k 770GTX) (7/25)

I'm having trouble streaming FFXIV. Everytime I start the stream it's just a black screen. Sometimes for a split moment my game will appear (its in borderless windowed and game capture is selected etc the settings are correct) and then just freeze. 80% of the time it will just show a black screen otherwise. I've tried streaming in 1080p/720 played with 30fps-60fps as well as lower bitrate from 3500 to 2000 and nothing has changed. I've attached the logfile from one of my sessions here .

Edit: I'm also using 16GB of RAM (dual channel).
Edit2: I'm also using a router with dd-wrt installed, could it be a firewall issue?
Router Model: TPLINK TL-WDR4300 v1
Router FW: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) std - build 21061

Hm, it does seem to be somewhat erratic according to the log file. No, not a firewall/etc issue, those are unrelated to black screen issues. It's definitely failing to connect to the game at some point. Only this game?

Also, as an alternative, remember that you can always run the game itself in borderless/windowed mode and then use window capture. It's a safer/easier alternative to game capture less prone to weird issues.

I'm going to be completely rewriting game capture in the rewrite and I'm going to hopefully make sure to reduce these sort of issues.

FFXIV is the only game I've tried. I can try playing another game later and testing.

I'll try window capture and report on that. My game was already running on borderless window.

Edit: I tried window capture, it doesn't really work. The stream is extremely choppy at 1-5 fps but in-game it shows FPS above 100.
Also, do you have an ETA for the rewrite?
Edit2: I seem to be experiencing the same issue with another game (Phantasy Star Online 2).
Here's my most recent log:

Edit3: Seems like I fixed it by upgrading .net framework from 4.0 to 4.5.1.

Changed the title since apparently I'm still having the same problems again.
Now the only thing that partially works is window capture. People have been telling me that the stream cuts off randomly, and I can see it on my preview panel that FPS drops to 0-5 for a few seconds. I also noticed that the bitrate fluctuates widly between 5k-40k for no reason (I set it to 3.5k max). The game tested was Final Fantasy XIV.

Here's my most recent logs:
