Secondly, I read the "Black Screen-Read First" Thread a few times trying different solutions. Even when I opened the NVIDIA control panel, it didn't give me the option of adding OBS to any file paths with the 3d settings.
I'm trying to record gameplay from Star Wars Republic Commando on Steam. Yesterday I noticed that none of the footage I recorded had any video but did have audio. I've tried different sources (monitor, gameplay, and window capture) but only get audio. When I tried using game capture the game crashed on me several times. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the game and verifying the local files cache as well as running OBS in admin mode.
OBS settings:
Encoder: x264
Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M
x264 CPU Preset: medium (buggier on fast and very fast)
