Question / Help Black screen comes haunting again

Good day everyone,

So here we are. This good old display capture black screen is back again and I can't seem to find anything I can do about it.

First time I got this I went into the Nvidia Control Panel in order to switch OBS.exe to integrated graphics and it worked great for months.

But this morning I installed Nvidia GeFroce latest graphic update 3.18.0.102 and all of a sudden I'm getting the black screen again.

Everything's working fine like my webcam would display and so will the widgets and everything. Only a big black screen behind.

I'm on a powerful MSi laptop GE73 Raider RGB 8RF.

If anyone could help me, suggest anything I'd highly appreciate it as I spent hours of my day off trying to find a fix and it's still not working.

Same issue as before. On a machine with a discrete and integrated GPU like a laptop, display capture sources won't work as long as OBS is set to launch on the discrete GPU, as it is in the above logfile.

What do I gotta do then if you don’t mind me asking?
I’ve only been using OBS for a couple months I’m still pretty noob at it.

All good problem solved! I wasn't changing the right .exe in the Nvidia control panel, as simple as that.
