Bug Report Black screen after Nvidia Driver update

Hey. I've been streaming CS:GO for some time with no problems, everything working a 100%.

Last night I even streamed for around 5 hours and everything was good. After I stopped streaming I decided to update my Nvidia driver as it is supposed to help with a known FPS drop bug in CS:GO.

I updated to 326.80 Beta driver, and after that it seems as if my game capture doesnt work.

I had a scene that had a Video device capture for my webcam and then a game capture for the game, it always worked wonderfully, but now it always just shows a black screen where the game is supposed to be. The webcam works and the scene is right, but the gameplay is just a black screen.

I've tried deleting scenes, deleting OBS and doing a clean install and what not. And I'm pretty much out of ideas. Any known issues with the latest nvidia driver regarding OBS Game Capture stream ?

Ok it is defiantly the Nvidia Driver update.

I tried rolling back the driver and the it started working instantly, but seeing as it gives me some pretty severe fps drops in CSGO I sort of have to go back to the latest driver.

Anyone from OBS that can shed some light on this ?

Have you tried switching to a Fullscreen Window/Borderless Window mode in CS:GO yet and just Window Capturing it instead (with Aero Enabled)? As long as Aero is enabled it should provide the same performance. Obviously, an issue may still exist but I'm just offering you a possible solution so you can run the latest Beta without losing the ability to stream.

Okay now I have no idea what is going on.

After rolling back and stuff my windows seemed to be somewhat off.

So I did a Restore to 2 days ago, installed the new driver to get better FPS, tried to stream and it worked.

I must have done something last night to cause this, but no idea what.

Anyways all is good now, good fps in CSGO and able to stream.

Hello. I have a very similar problem. I updated Nvidia drivers to 227.23 today and after that when I try to capture a windowed game nothing shows up. The preview of the window is a black screen. I tried to install older versions of the drivers but it doesn't help. I reinstalled OBS and the drivers a couple of times. Nothing changed. Is there a solution for this?
