Black borders around video?

Hello. Just started using OBS to capture play video.

I keep getting black borders around my videos like in the picture.

Tried changing record quality, file type, resolutions and it still occurs.

Seems like your canvas is a different resolution than your content ie. 1080 canvas and 720 content (game).
You can either reduce the canvas size in the settings or you can scale the content up by unlocking the source and scale it to canvas size (of course, scaling the content up will reduce the quality of it).
