Question / Help Black Bars Please Help Me

When I try to record or stream it shows black bars at the side and when I edit the scene it won't let me drag it to fullscreen.
When I select monitor it is fullscreen but the when I check the recording it lags badly, when I record with the black it does not lag at all. I have the custom base resolution set to 1280 720 which gives me black bars. I don't really know what to do I have spent like 4 hours trying to find a fix by searching on google and youtube but I can't find anything that helps. Please reply asap!

I have 1024 768 though. And I don't really get that website.

Trying to use a 1024x768 source in a 1280x720 scene is pretty much ALWAYS going to have black bars.

The best way to deal with it is to put overlay (Webcam, chat, images, etc) in the areas that the black bars would normally be in.
