Question / Help Black bars on Youtube uploaded Video 1920x1080

I am recording video of a full screen application (computer tutorials)

My Screen resolution is 1920x1080

My Base Canvas and output resolution is also 1920x1080

I have not got rescale output ticked.

The video is recorded, but when I upload to youtube or play with media player it has black bars on the side

The details of the video say 1920x1080

Sure this is an easy fix, but have read so many forum posts and youtube videos but can't seem to fix this issue

it looks like your capture is distorted. You can try selecting your captured source and press ctrl+F or right click on the source -> transform -> fit to screen

See if that actually fixes your problem

That seems to have done the trick

Right click source and fit to screen, just uploaded a test video and no black bars.
