Question / Help Black Bars On Stream

Hi i have an issue, i have black bars on the side of my stream.

Usually in XSplit i can just crop them out, but i dont see the crop feature in OBS.

I can fix this by changing my Scaling Options in AMD Catalyst, but that makes my screen go over the edge so i cant see the start menu or anything.

I am using an AverMedia Live Gamer HD. and i was wondering if anyone knew how to crop/can help me fix this without oversizing my monitor size.

I'm not sure what the exact issue is, yes I know you said there are black bars on the sides but that can be caused by several things. Here are the solutions for all the events I can think of. Streaming 4:3/5:4 game, don't use 16:9/16:10 streaming resolution. The capture doesn't fit the preview/stream, click Edit Scene and fix it or right click the source > Position > Fit to Screen. Or the third you want is capture a sub-region, I don't know if that is possible when capturing from a device tho.

Set your base resolution to the same size as the source you're capturing.

R1CH, the base resolution will not work even if I press "apply", so it would be a big help if you tell me why.
