Black Bars in Recorded Videos When Played on a Different Monitor

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with recorded videos in OBS Studio. When I record videos using my new Samsung Odyssey G5 monitor (2560x1440, 16:9) and play them on another monitor, black bars appear at the top and bottom of the video.
I’m unsure how to adjust my settings to ensure videos display correctly on all monitors without black bars.

Could you please guide me on how to configure OBS Studio to avoid this issue?

I'm assuming you're recording your videos at 16:9 ratio. It seems your other monitor is a 16:10. If you record a video at 2560x1440 and then play it full screen on a 16:10 screen (2560x1600 for example), there is going to 160 extra lines horizontal lines that need to be filled with something. Either black lines on the top and bottom or stretch/distort it to 16:10.
