Black bar on left and bottom of screen recording

I can't get rid of the black bar on the left and bottom of any screen recording I make.

The resolutions are both 1920x1090 and are both 16:9 I tried changing the output to 1960x1100 but it made no difference.

I'll attach two images showing the settings and a full windows 10 screen. The black bars are clearly visible in the windows screen image.

How can I get rid of the bars>

I changed the output to mp4 files and now the black bars are on the right and top instead of the left and bottom.
I changed it back to mkv and still the black bars are on the top and right.

This is driving me nuts.

I got it all working.
First I deleted ALL sources.
Closed OBS.
Added new "DISPLAY" source as DXGI (not Automatic)
Now the recordings match the screen exactly.
I guess the trick is to close OBS after doing any major changes and to pick the correct type of source and in this case Automatic did not work well but DXGI works perfect.
