So recently my streams have become increasingly laggy and I've just learned why. Whenever I alt+tab away from the OBS window and into my game, my bitrate shoots up to insane amounts (capping at around 50k), and falls back down to the normal 3k when I tab back into OBS. This has been happening for just over a week and I've found no fix for it. Any suggestions?

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980ti
Intel i7-4790k
2x8 gb RAM
