Hi Folks--
I was streaming fine (No major bitrate issues or Frame Drops) until about 2 weeks ago (Dec 16). At that point suddenly my stream was intermittently losing Audio with Frozen Video every 5 minutes or so. This occurred on BOTH of my computers at home, so I went to Tech Corner & inquired if VaughnLive was having any technical issues. I was told there were no problems. With that, I started to tweak my (previously "untouched" settings per OBS Setup Video), which didn't help matters. I went back to Tech Corner & furnished information (OS/ Upload Speed, Processor, etc)--based on that info, I now tweaked my settings per Tech Corner support--which (unfortunately did NOT resolve the issue & in addition to intermittent spiking bitrates, i was experiencing MASSIVE frame drops. I have viewed the Video for OBS Classic Setup (which i am more comfortable with than the OBS Studio)--multiple times and have applied the "suggested" settings. For some reason, even though I should be getting about 10MBPS, my speed test results show anywhere from 4.5 to 6.5MBPS. I have contacted my IPS about this & await their arrival (within the week),. In the meantime I have been able to "tweak" the OBS Encoder to where I can get a somewhat consistent bitrate for about 15 minutes (at one point I was on a "roll" for 29 minutes), but for some reason the bitrate spikes, then re-sets with Dropped Frames. Almost as if the Encoder is on some sort of timer. is that a possibility? Any insight would certainly be appreciated.
