Question / Help Bitrate for local recordings

Hi All,

I can't find the answer to my question and i don't know if it's been asked before, but here goes:

Does the max bitrate/buffer size values affect your local recordings? For example, if i set my max bitrate to 1000 and try to record in 720p, will it be any different than setting my max bitrate to 5000?

Yes, it will. For local recordings only, you probably want to increase your bitrate significantly, because bandwidth isn't an issue there.
