Bitrate dropping - Poor Connection or wrong Settings?

Hi there,

I've been streaming for some time now and within the last 2-3 months nearly every time I stream at some point the bitrate and with that the quality of my stream drops into nothing with sometimes even little disconnects.
I've talked with my network provider but they can't seem to help. Maybe you guys can.

I am nearly on the last straw of changing the provider since in my opinion it's just not enough power from their side. But maybe you'll see anything in my latest log that seems to be the problem?

Thanks in advance for any replys. If you need any further information besides the log let me know.

Hey there,

it's me again. I just checked in on most of the possible problems that are stated in the related help-thread. But it seems like nothing is working. Does anyone have a clue if it is something in my settings that I should change?

Thanks
Zervanas

What have you done for real-time LAN (home network) monitoring?
it could easily be something else on your home network (expected or not)
I had an issue that turned out to be the security software on my PC (and that won't show up in an OBS log)
And what else is running on your PC? background processes coudl consume network upload bandwidth. Again, OBS log won't show that.

What have you done for real-time monitoring of your ISP/WAN connection?
someone else recently found their ISP had either poor routing or was filtering/interfering with streaming traffic to a specific destination

Hi there,

well I'm not that sure what all I could do to monitor it properly.
I had some streams where I had the Bandwith-Monitor of my Router open and it nearly mirrored the Drops in the Upload if that helps.
You have a recommendation on what to go for to take an in depth look at it?
