Hey , i need some help regarding the right settings. I have an Intel 3930 with a gtx 680 and 16gb of Ram. My upload speed is 10Mb/s and i can provide up to 7,63 Mb/s to the Twitch Server closest to me without any frames dropped.
Now i still have some people unable to watch my stream and it seems to be laggy for them (Stream freezes for them sometimes). I have tried to lower my initial Settings
Quality 10
Max bitrate 3500
Buffer size 3500
720p @ 60fps
to
Quality 8
Max bitrate 1700
Buffer size 1700
720p @ 30fps
The Problem i see is that it doesn't look as good anymore since the the Bitrate is too low to keep up with the Games i play (Fps games). Even when i play RTS or Mobas it doesnt look as pretty. The biggest issue is that some people still say the stream freezes and laggs for them.
On my end everything is fine , no ingame lag , no lost frames, no high ping nothing!
A Friend told me to lower the buffer to around 1000 bitrate and set the max bitrate to 3500 , this way people with bad internet can still watch it and it looks good (some say set it to the same values others say max needs to be higher then again some say the buffer needs to be higher ??????????).
I don't see lag in the vods either, so is it really me or is it twitch or is it the viewers problem? i want to provide good looking content to set me apart from other blurry low fps streams but this doesn't seem possible when the stream still laggs for the viewers .
