Question / Help Bit rate Question

Does the max bit rate have anything to do with the resolution I stream at? The estimator says i should be ok to stream at 3000 kb/s but if I set it to that and then go watch the Stream on my laptop it lags.

Resolution and bitrate are independent to each other, but you usually want a minimum amount of bitrate for your target resolution.

As for your laptop, do you mean the stream is delayed ? or is the playback choppy / stuttering ?
