Question / Help Bioshock not streaming correctly?

For some reason when I stream Bioshock obs only captures the left half of the game and stretches it to the whole screen. Nothing I do changes or fixes it. I have looked at all of the setting in obs and Bioshock. I have tried playing Bioshock full screen and windowed at different resolutions but I can't get it to work. Please help.

on your game capture, right click properties, stretch/fit to screen.

post your logfile from under the help menu after you've streamed or previewed.

looks like in your video settings you have a custom resolution there and its stretching to that custom resolution.

Im really sorry for the trouble but it still doesnt work, when i right click on the preview and go to preview it doesnt have a fit to screen option, Ctrl-F also does nothing. I do have a fit to screen option when i look at position/ size after right clicking the preview but that also does nothing.

Because I speed run, I must keep the game windowed in 1600x900 resolution in order to see the timer while i play. Im not exactly sure what you mean by remake the game capture, sorry :)

delete the game capture source and readd it. You might also set a custom resolution to 1600x900 instead of 1080 but i dont think that is your issue.

I actually not only deleted the game capture source and readded it but I uninstalled OBS and reinstalled it, which also didn't work. Should I delete and redownload bioshock?

It might be worth a shot, but first, I would see if full screen bioshock gives you that stretched look in OBS. do you have ignore aspect ratio checked in the game capture properties? can you screenshot that properties window?

check stretch image to screen and ignore aspect ratio just for good measure.
EDIT:
https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/only-part-of-the-screen-is-captured-bioshock-2.8047/
seems to be happening for a while now.try what this guy did to fix it.

@Jim seems to cut the screen cap into 2 half regions and OBS uses the left?

I appreciate your research into my problem but unfortunately i am not capturing a window or monitor. The source is a game capture source, so i do not have a sub region. If it would help I could upload a newer log.
