Question / Help BF4 problem w/logs

Hey, i've been streaming for a while and only get this issue with BF4. I use game capture and it's already not looking too good fps wise in the preview (choppy, while ingame there's no problem). On Twitch itself it's more or less the same. Sometimes the stream is great, the fps i get ingame is translated on stream too. But sometimes it gets choppy after playing for a while, as if i'm playing with 10/20 fps, which is not really great to watch ofcourse.

I got my preset on Faster, my cpu can handle it.

here you can see the past broadcast. Keep in mind, i got plenty of fps ingame, i'd like to know why it's not translated to Twitch.

looks fine ... could still be the preset since even the sandy e cores are going to maxed out at 720p45 @ faster with bf4 running

i would recommend using the default preset and see if that changes anything


there are some duplicated frames though but they seem to be in a completly other scene

I can always try. But the weird thing is, most of the times the stream looks good fps wise, but lately it has been choppy once in a while. Could it be just the Twitch server, it seems the connection to either Amsterdam or Frankfurt is around 900 ms ? And i'll keep an eye out for cpu usage, i just watched the temps and they are fine, around 65°C max while streaming.

Slower preset in use

You have changed the default preset to faster. Using slower presets can result in late frames and high CPU usage / low FPS. You should only change the preset if you are sure you have the CPU power to spare.

Possible slow server

The server you are streaming to (rtmp://live-fra.justin.tv/app) took 909 ms to connect. This may mean your connection or the server is slow, or the server is far away from you. If you are using twitch.tv, you may want to try using JTVPing to find an optimal server.

mhh a slow to connection to the twitch servers shouldnt result in unwatchable low fps, yet you could try changing through the european servers and see if you find a good one but i doubt that this will fix it, but it is possible that the server is just bad and transmits a bad video signal
