Question / Help Best way to increase stream quality?

Hi so right now heres my settings and rig specs -

rig - Intel Core i5 3570 3.4/3.8 turbo GHZ Ivy Bridge 8 gigs RAM EVGA GTX 660 ti ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard

obs settings - CBR enabled, 3000 bit 3500 buffer, audio bit 160, base res 1920x1080 downscaled to 720p with lanczo downscale, 60 FPS. Process priority high, cpu preset veryfast. using game capture for streams and logitech C615 1080p webcam at 720p 30 fps (in obs because i get lag when streaming my cam at 1080)

So my quality right now is pretty darn good but i watch two people specifically and they run 3000 and 3500 bit rates and there quality is leaps and bounds better than mine. how do i increase this quality?

Hey.
Maybe theyre using a second PC for encoding and ramped up the presets?

My Setup is VERY similar to yours and - depends on the game - you can try to set the preset to faster or even fast to squeeze a little bit of quality out of it.

Who you mean with the two people?

the guy i watch that uses the 3000 bit used a dual pc setup but the one that uses 3500 is a single pc using game capture.
