Best way to connect DJI Mini 2 mic with Sony ZV-E10 II for OBS?

Hi, I’m using a Sony ZV-E10 II camera with a DJI Mini 2 microphone. The camera is connected to my PC via Elgato Camlink 4K.


I’m wondering: for the best audio quality and sync in OBS, is it better to:

1. Connect the DJI mic directly to the camera, or
2. Connect the DJI mic directly to the PC?

The audio quality does not matter I would: good in both cases (if not excellent).
But it depends on your setup: I guess you have only one camera. if you have more than one, you may consider connect directly to the PC and configure as a "global audio device" - "Mic/Aux" in the audio settings .
Connect to the DJI mic to the camera makes the workflow simpler to me if setup is one camera.
