Question / Help Best stream settings help?!

Hi i was just wondering if anybody could help me get my optimal stream settings as i keep dropping frames.

Specs -

3770k @ 4.5ghz
16GB corsair 1600mhz
Asus sabertooth Z77
Asus gtx 670 direct CU II TOP

I have played around with FPS from 30-58 and with both UK servers but i always drop frames!
i have tried bitrates from 2000-2500 and buffer always double and i instantly drop frames if there the same.

Help please.. i will give you any info you would like!

Your upload isn't good enough to provide the bandwidth you selected (2500 plus 5000 buffer is way too much for your upload).

Set the bitrate to 1800 and the same for the buffer then slowly increase it until you notice dropped frames then switch servers and proceed. Also only because you have a certain upload speed that doesn't mean that you can push the same speed to the servers. If you don't have any luck with the uk servers you should try amsterdam and frankfurt as well.

With your upload you shouldn't use more than 2500 bitrate/buffer at max.

Oh and no one should ever use wireless for streaming (and my personal opinion is that you shouldn't use wireless for anything else other than browsing websites with your laptop while sitting at your pool :lol: )!

On a sidenote the twitch servers are still kinda shittie depending on how many partnered streamers are streaming . Sometimes i can push up to 7000 to the servers without any problems and on other days the servers won't allow me to use more than 2000 without dropping frames (i always test and change the servers).

Own3d allowed me to use 9000 bitrate (which was more for testing purposes than anything else) without any problems ever (but they don't exist anymore) .

If you are still having issues, then it might be a different problem and you should post a logfile.

Thanks for the info guys, i will test it out.

I found one problem to be my Asus Network iControl! if anybody else has this make sure you don't install it or Uninstall it if you have it as it messes up your upload. ( Google is your friend )
