50/5 internet. I7 3770k, 16gb ram, 780ti sc. Game I stream is Tera and have been running 2500 bit rate with 1080p @ 45 fps. After a 6 hr stream I had .30% dropped frames (usually get .10% or so) this feels like a decent set up. I hear people say 2000 bit with 720@ 30fps is the best ? I tried a few tests and watched my stream and vods and it looked quite worse. Here's my page if anyone wants to check out the vods twitch.TV/aelaelia

2500 isnt enough for 1080p. Are u partnered with twitch? If Its not, higher Bitrate whould take effect. Try 720p60 with 2500 Bitrate.

Frame Drops proceed from high CPU usage because ur System Cant handle 1080p Streaming and Gaming at the same time.

Ok thanks! Is 720@ 60fps less stress on my system and network than 1080p at 45 or 30? Considering both are 2500bitrate. No I'm not patterned BTW lol

Ok ty man. I checked the article and it recommends 30fps. Can my processor and my 50/5 network handle 60fps? How much more stress on the system and network is 60fps compared to 30fps? What should I do in this instance? Thanks for all the help so far guys really appreciate it

Give it a try and Test it out by yourself. I think setting up 60 instead of 30 will not impact the CPU and network so much. Importent is the downscale to 720p at first.
