The forum is not dead, it's only one don't really want to reply to "obs has crashed", "best settings", "black screen", "no audio", "doesn't install" any more that was all answered a thousand times before.
If you have a trivial issue like that, go to Discord. There are automated helpers for answering these with perfect answers.

mic not working in obs-help!
hey. my mic,a boya mm1,used to work perfectly but now it doesnt at all.im sure there is just some setting i screwed up.tho,i installed it again but still no worky.i dont see a reaso to include a log but let me know if theres something i can include. thanks,

Can I offload the encoding to my secondary GPU?
So I've was wondering if it's possible to run two graphics card, where you'd play the game using one and then OBS would record using the other one, so that the encoder would be offloaded to that GPU, I'm not sure if that works hence why I decided to ask here.

issues with audio devices-help!
hey. i cant get the audio devices to work properly. if i setup according to the obs guide (from clean install),the green meter thing doesnt show any activity on the mic,only on the desktop audio output (see att.)! the mic is working fine and i can hear it,it even records. but the meter isnt...
