Question / Help Best Settings?

hey,
I tried everything but I have the problem that my recordings dont look as well as the real game. And it should not be my speccs: I have i7 6700K, 16GB RAM, 4GB GTX 970 and a SSD.

In pictures you do not see it as good as it would be in moving pictures ;), but maybe you see it anyways what I mean

I have CBR, 15000 as bitrate, x264 and 60fps.

Record quality: Indistinguishable
Format FLV

Well, I had exact these settings, just with mp4. But also with flv it doesnt look different. Just to be sure, the ark settings are on epic.

Well, I think that´s very good image.

If you want better quality. LOSLESS.

FLV is better because in case of problems you won´t loose all your footage.

mmh. Ok. With lossless it really looks like I wanted it to, but it is definitly too big. there is no possibility to get something in between?

Indistinguishable is:

CQP 14
preset hq (high quality)
Profile High
level auto
2 pass true

Lossles I suppose is CQP 0

So, use ADVANVED SETTINGS

CQP 10 or below
preset high quality
profile high
level auto
2 pass encoding

well, I have the problem that I do not have CQP, i just have cbr, abr, vbr and crf. I dont have a "level auto" and i dont have / find the 2 pass encoding setting.

Sorry, that is for NVENC.

x264 is :
CRF 14
Preset veryfast
profile high

x264 low cpu changes preset to Ultrafast


So,
Advanced settings
x264
CRF 10 or below
CPU preset veryfast, and if lag change to superfast or even ultrafast
Profile high

At first, thank you. Should I use NVENC? Is it better, or why do u use it?

NVENC should be the same as using NVIDIA Sahre to record. Releases CPU.

So, try both options and select what you consider best.
