Question / Help Best settings?

Hi everyone!

I have been streaming a lot lately and was just wondering if I could improve my stream.
So here are my settings and upload/download speed + specs:
GPU: GeForce GTX 560 Ti
CPU: Intel(R) Core (TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80Hz
Memory: 5,96 GB RAM
Resolution: 1680x1050, 120 Hz
Windows: 7

encoding settings on OBS:
Quality Balance: 7
Max Bitrate (kb/s):50000
Buffer size (kbit): 50000

Video settings on OBS:
Custom resolution: 1680x1050
Resolution Downscale: 1.50 (1120x700)
Filter: Lanczos (best detail, 36 samples)
FPS:60
Disable Aero at startup: yes

Audio works just fine

Advanced:
Use Multithreaded Optimizations: yes
Process Priority Class: Normal
Scene Buffering Time (ms): 400
x264 Preset: veryfast
Use CFR: disabled
Custom x264 Encoder Settings: disabled
Allow 61-120 FPS entry in video settings: disabled
Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time: disabled
Use mic QPC timestamps: disabled
Bind to Interface: Default
Automatic low latency mode: disabled

You should lower it to whatever is reasonable and no longer adds quality. What you must not forget is that even if you could stream at 1Gbit, you will not actually notice that on-stream. There is a certain degree of quality loss taking place on Twitch's end as well. Something you have no amount of control over. It's not a lot of quality loss but still, it is something to consider. 50,000 does nothing to avoid whatever takes place on their end.

3500 is the maximum reasonable bitrate. For comparison, have a look at this...

Q-7 @ 3000 Kbps, 30 FPS
Q-10 @ 6000 Kbps, 60 FPS

The second one doesn't look all that much better than the first, now does it? ;)
