Best settings?

Hi!, I'm a dude trying to record minecraft videos with obs but I can't seem to find the right settings. I have a pretty decent laptop (at least it think). I can run most games smoothly at 100+ fps. Now, I don't play much games I've only played fortnite, minecraft, valorant. Yea those type of pretty easy games to run.

I have a Legion 5 laptop with an intel i7 10750H with a 1660ti (i have the laptop version of it i think its called like 1660ti mobile or something) and 15.9gb ram.

I've tried recording in high frames like 240 and 360 but those are wayyy to heavy for my pc and stutter when i watch the recording. For me, 60fps is meh and i feel like I could do better. Could anyone tell me what frames I should record, what rate control I should use and how much (ex. cqp rate control, 13 cq level).

Would really appreciate and I do understand that this is a tough question to ask but if anyone does have an answer pls let me know.

Open OBS, go to the Tools menu, run the Auto-Configuration Wizard. That should get you good baseline settings. There is no such thing as 'best settings' beyond that though, aside from trial and error.

Recording at over 60fps is not a supported use-case, and is entirely at-your-own-risk.
