I recently started streaming and the video seems kind of choppy and fuzzy. The quality is kinda bad. I was streaming on a res downscale of 1280x720 Bilinear Veryfast preset @2500bitrate.
I have an i7 4790k 3.6ghz + 750ti.

First off, would you recommend me to stream at 720p/60fps or 720p/30fps?
If I used Lanczos filtering, would my GPU be able to handle it while running a game? CSGO/The Forest
Also, should I up the bitrate to 3000?
And finally, what preset do you think I can run it at?

30fps, 60 requires double the cpu and between 50% and 100% more bitrate.

Downscale filtering depends on what your priority is on your video.

Increasing bitrate decreases potential viewers due to cable company fuckery and buffering hell.

720@30 if you are starting off. that way you'll get mobile viewers in addition to people with slower PCs and ISPs.

2000-2500 bitrate would be ideal.

lanzcos isn't always the best filter. bicubic and bilinear are sharper (bicubic being sharpest)

post your logfile.

Don't stream over wifi. Run a cable. Your connection is unstable and dropping 10% of your frames, which will make it look choppy and isn't going to help your quality issues. Wifi isn't meant to replace cabling; it's meant for lightweight use by mobile devices. Which streaming isn't.

Yup, what Ferretbomb said. once you switch to wireless you will have less stalled frames which is caused by the twitch ingest not receiving all of your stream.

please also run your tests for 5 minutes or more to get a true % of duplicate frames. if after 5 minutes, your duplcate frames stays well below 1%, then we can work on dropping yous x264 preset a little for some improvement on quality.

please post another log when you are done.
