Question / Help Best settings? (noting performance decrease)

So, basically I recently built a new pc and as I had a tight budget I decided to keep my old GPU. The specs are the following :

i5-4570 3.2GHZ @ 3.6GHz Turbo
Powercolor XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5
4GB Kingston HyperX Black RAM
Windows 8 x64

I should be able to stream with these specs right? When I'm trying to stream LoL the game gets all stuttery and when I stop streaming it goes perfectly smooth.

disable aero when you are going to use monitor capture or leave it enabled but use either game capture or window capture instead.

also theres no real need for cfr when you are life streaming

It's Windows 8, alpinlol. So, Monitor Capture is just fine. And Aero cannot be disabled in Windows 8. ;) As far as CFR goes, well... I don't think CFR is causing the issue in this case. If it had, the issue would be much, much worse.

@wrecky: The log does not suggest any serious problems. Could you show us a past broadcast/VOD that shows this issue you're experiencing? Or is it just on your end?

Huh? You should always enable CFR. Variable framerate has been the source of many problems on these forums.

For the OP: Speedtest isn't a good test for streaming purposes. Use testmy.net instead.

It's just on my end, the stream looks fine. Streaming doesn't need too much CPU but I guess in FPS games im pushing it too far, that must be it right?

Well, if it is just on your end you could consider dropping the in-game settings a bit. Just to get a bit more FPS out of the game itself.

Actually, yes, you should. Once the test version makes it to release, there is no more reason not to have CFR enabled. Which is why it is enabled by default from that point on. Thing is, numerous video manipulation programs do have issues with VFR and Twitch's profiler also still has some issues actually accurately detecting the specified keyframe interval without CFR. And as a result will not accurately label a stream as Excellent and consequently may fail to provide said stream to mobile devices.
